●About Presentations

 I.Oral Presentation 

1.   Date & time

Please download the Academic Session Program (Oral Presentations) and check your presentation number, session and time.

2.  Presentation time

12 minutes are allowed per presentation.

At 10 minutes from starting time, the facilitator will ask the speaker to arrive at the conclusion.

A  "Q&A session" for all speakers will be held at the end of the session, so please remain in the session room until then. 

3.  Language of the presentation

 Japanese or English

 4.  Letter of Consent for Simultaneous Interpreting    Letter of Consent (for Download)

Simultaneous interpreting between Japanese and English will be made available at the session. Please sign the Letter of Consent that acknowledges non-execution of right of integrity in relation to simultaneous interpreting. (Downloadable from the website.) Please have all copyright holders sign the Letter and mail it to the Secretariat by October 10 (Friday). 

5Data files & equipment for the presentation

  A. Data used in the presentation

Please have the data produced in PowerPoint ® (2003 or later) and email the file to the Secretariat by October 10 (Friday). If the data file exceeds 8MB in size, please send it in a CD-ROM by the deadline date. Please have backup of the presentation data ready in a media (CD-ROM or USB memory) on the day of the presentation.

  .Presentation equipment

PC and LCD projector will be available at each venue on the day. Please use the PC which the secretariat will prepare for your presentation. Slides, OHP and video presentations are not accepted.

※Macintosh PC is not available. If you plan to use your own, D-sub 15-pin connector (external output connection terminal) is necessary. Please check the type and shape of the required connector in advance and bring your own, if necessary.

※Power voltage throughout Japan is 100V. Please make sure to bring an electric transformer/voltage inverter when you bring your own PC.

 

 6. Procedure for the day of presentation

A.  Registration

Please register in advance and on the day of the Conference. Persons who have not registered on October 23-25 are required to complete registration at the Registration Desk (Building 1, Chiba University of Commerce) in advance of your presentation on October 26. You will receive the collection of papers for the session, name card, etc.

B. Presenters' Reception Desk

Please come to the "Presenter`s Desk" at the main entrance of Building 1, Chiba University of Commerce, and announce your name to the receptionist. Then go to your session room, and be seated at "Speaker" seat in the front row. Make sure to enter the session room no later than 10 minutes before start of the session. Follow the instructions of the facilitator (chairperson) to start your presentation.

7Full paper

Copies of the collection of full papers (extended abstracts) are scheduled to be distributed on the day of the Conference. The deadline for submitting your full paper is August 29 (Fri.) If not submitted on time, an abstract will be featured.

8Others

 The Secretariat does not produce extracts or reprints of papers.

 

II.Poster Presentation

1.  Date & number

Please download the list of Poster Presentations and check your presentation (panel) number.

2.  Language of the presentation

 Japanese or English 

3. Poster panel to be used

The panel size is 150cm by 90 cm (LxW). The poster must be produced to fit the panel, following the procedure below.

 

4.Presentation notes

There are no rules for poster presentation time, so long as it is held between 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Participants are scheduled to be asked to participate in the poster session during the break in the oral presentation session (13:00-14:00).

5. Procedure for the day of presentation

A. Registration

B. Reception of Poster Presenters

Poster presenters are required to report to the Poster Presenter Reception Desk (1F, Building 1, Chiba University of Commerce) in addition to registration.

C. Poster display & removal

To display the poster, please put up the poster on the panel designated to you at the Reception Desk between 9:00-10:00 a.m.

Posters are to be removed between 3:00-5:00 p.m.

 6Full paper
