1．Do you know about the Foreign Residents' Assistance Desk？

Ichikawa City Hall has set up the Foreign Residents' Assistance Desk to provide information about your daily life, the city administration services and its facilities. The desk also answers your questions and gives guidance on various matters. The desk opens from 10 to 12 am and 1 to 4 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday it opens from 2 to 8 pm. We have two assistance desks, one is in front of the Division of City Residents Affairs on the 1st floor of the Ichikawa City Hall, about 5 minutes walk from JR Motoyawata Station, Keisei Yawata Station, or Toei Shinjuku Metro Motoyawata Station. Another is in front of the reception desk at the entrance of the 1st floor of Gyotoku Branch Office, about 5 minutes walk from Gyotoku Station on Tokyo Metro Tozai Line.
The languages for the consulting are English, Chinese and Spanish. All the consultants speak English. For Chinese and Spanish services, and for further details, refer to the homepage of Ichikawa City or call Foreign Residents’ Assistance Desk, 047-336-8030.

2. Culture Festival in Community Centers

Culture Festivals will be held at ONITAKA Community Center, KASHIWAI　Community Center and HON-GYOTOKU Community Center on Saturday, October 2nd and Sunday, 3rd. Similar events will be held separately until Sunday, November 7th at 13 other Community Centers.
You can see works and performances by the people who use community centers. It is the big event for them to display their results of learning. Why not enjoy these big events?

3. You can enjoy a sunset view at Mt.Yarigatake
  

“Sugadaira Highland Ichikawa Village” in Shinsyu organizes a special autumn event for guests. The event will be held 6 times, two days for each event. The dates are October 18 (Monday), October 25 (Monday), October 28 (Thursday), October 30 (Saturday), November 1 (Monday) and November 5 (Friday).
On the 1st day, our bus will take you from Ueda Station to “Bessho Spa”and “Zenzanji Temple” the beautiful scenic spot where trees are aflame with red and yellow leaves. You can taste specially cooked rice cake, “kurumi-ohagi”, there. Next day enjoy “apple picking” at an apple farm. You can appreciate the beautiful sunset over Mt.Yarigatake, especially on Friday 5th November, if the weather is fine.　Please come and enjoy autumn at Shinsyu
